The Titan International School. August 15, 2022
As the first-ever Independence Day program at The Titan International School approached, a palpable tension filled the atmosphere, and a sense of nervous anticipation hung in the air. "Everything should go as planned," echoed the thoughts of every individual as the clock struck 10:00 a.m., signalling the arrival of our esteemed Chief Guest.
The honourable guests, Mr Rowan Robin James Luke and Mr. Ravi Nandan, were warmly received at the school gates by our students, who presented them with Independence Day badges. They were then escorted to the awaited podium, where the flag was to be hoisted.
At precisely 10:05 a.m., Mr. Rowan Robin James Luke raised the flag, marking the commemoration of the 75th Independence Day. Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, our distinguished guests were ushered into the auditorium for a brief yet meaningful function. Mr. Terence Correya, who officiated the ceremony, initiated proceedings by presenting the guests with a bouquet. The program encompassed a rich array of performances, including vibrant dances, spirited action songs, and eloquent, motivational speeches delivered by our talented students. In conclusion, our Chief Guest graced the occasion with words of encouragement, love, and gratitude, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.
Subsequently, Mr. Ravi Nandan, our director, expressed his gratitude during the vote of thanks. He not only praised the students for their exceptional performances but also commended the dedicated efforts of our teachers in nurturing such a splendid event.
The program concluded at 12:00 noon, allowing the students to return home with lunch packs thoughtfully provided by the school. As the first-ever Independence Day program at our institution, it undeniably achieved remarkable success, leaving an indelible mark in the hearts of all who attended.
