Independence Day

The Titan International School, August 16, 2023

Being the second Independence Day program of The Titan International School, we knew that nothing could go wrong. The host, Mr. R. Correya, had planned everything perfectly. With the welcoming of the chief guest, the Honourable Ma'am R. Richter, we marched on towards the flag-hoisting ceremony. At 10:00 a.m., the flag was hoisted, followed by a salute and the national anthem. Considering it was a hot day, we escorted the chief guest to the hall where the events were ready to unfold.

The Independence Day program went smoothly without any delays, featuring wonderful dance, acting, and singing performances from all the classes, keeping the theme, 'Swach Bharat,' in mind. The focus was not only to show our love for the nation but also to demonstrate and be proactive by contributing to our country's cleanliness.

On that day, we had two other events as well: the investiture ceremony, during which we bestowed school badges with responsibilities upon the student leaders, and the annual prize-giving ceremony, where we recognized deserving students for their outstanding performances in class and various subjects. Our chief guest, Ma'am R. Richter, assisted in pinning the badges, while the prizes were awarded by both our chief guest and our beloved director, Mr. R. Nandan's mother, Mrs. S. Yadav. The program concluded with a heartfelt and motivational speech by Ma'am R. Richter. Nevertheless, our exceptional teachers and brilliant students were acknowledged and congratulated by Mr. T. Correya for their outstanding performance.

As we look forward to various other programs this year and greater involvement from our students, we conclude.
